The others all use silicone response which with the best pads can last a few months (of active everyday play) but cost $3 for a set of 2. The Speed dial also uses starburst but it is stronger and will last much longer but again can't be replaced. can change responsive with a twist but it uses a weak starburst reponse the wears out and can't be replaced. But The Velocity and the Speed dial have a dial you tighten or loosen that can make you move from resonsive to unresonive in a few twist where as the Prelude and th flipside require compleatly takeing the yoyo apart and changing bearing. These are the four yoyos I have found that can be ued for unresponsive and responsive. (Yoyo factory) Velocity (yoyofactory), Speed dial (yoyofactory). yoyos that are good for both styles that I have found are listed: Prelude (yoyojam), Flipside (Duncan), F.A.S.T. (4A is another story.) but what I advie people to look for is a yoyo that can be ued in both the responsive and unresponsive. ![]() ![]() but if you want to do things like the two videos I posted above that is 1A and uses an unresponsive yoyo (it doesn't come back with a tug) like wise with 3A and 5A. Ok What I advise you look for in a yoyo for a beginer i something that is a bit durable (so it can hit the ground a bit and not break) also depends on the style you want to do, If you want the yoyo to come back with a tug then you will be looking for a responsive yoyo which is used for styles 0A and 2A 2A is two unresposive yoyos.
